Something like Clinton Canopy is a big undertaking where “all hands on deck” applies. If you want to be a part of this productive group there is a place for you.
We currently meet on the second Saturday morning of each month for a work day at Millers Fork. Tasks on these Saturdays include clearing brush, planning future projects, picking up trash, documenting species, and general maintenance.
Upcoming opportunities to volunteer:
Friday, April 19, 9:30 am: Weed flower beds at intersection of West Main and Broad St.
Monday, April 22, 9-11 am: Great American Cleanup/Earth Day - litter sweep along West Corporate Center Drive. Meet at Days Inn at 9 am.
Other group activities occur as needed to maintain and improve Clinton’s Green Spaces. Let us know you are interested in joining us for specific activities or want to be informed about opportunities to contribute as they arise. You can be a part of something much needed but simple like watering thirsty plants to helping to design a park project.
